The Galaxy Note 7 is probably the most anticipated device in the near future before the next Nexuses arrive and probably a non-Nexus Google phone if rumours are to be believed.
There have been various news stories and rumours and leaks going about Samsung’s next and we had covered everything we know about the Galaxy Note 7 in a previous post but recent benchmark rumours suggest a non edge variant of the Note 7 might be coming as well. But there is nothing exciting about it since this “Nedge” variant is quite not at par with the edge version of the Note 7.
When Samsung introduced the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, the only difference was a smaller form factor and dual edges, a trend Samsung continued with the S7 and S7 edge but it seems Samsung might just break this trend and follow the old “mini” route where these OEMs released an under-powered mini versions for their flagships.
The Galaxy Note 7 is the next in the note series of line up the previous being Note 5. The jump from 5 to 7 is believed to be Samsung’s way of tidying up its flagship line up and making it easier for the consumers.
What do you think? Does it make any sense to have a Note Lite with lower specs when all everyone probably wanted was a non edge variant? Let us know in the comments.
