Spider-Man: Homecoming set photos show off action sequence

The first set photos from Spider-Man: Homecoming have begun to hit the internet, giving us our first glimpse at the superhero’s anticipated solo outing. So what do we have in this fresh batch of images? Well, not a whole lot, but it does give us a very clear view of actor Tom Holland in full costume—and we even get to see the character’s phone of choice, which looks like it might be an older iPhone (you can see it in the gallery above).

What’s fun about these photos is that they capture the youth of Peter Parker. Check out his slick Jansport backpack; it looks like maybe he just got out of school. Aside from that, we get to see some of the tricks used for filming: wires, a trampoline, and one very important umbrella.

We also get a more detailed look at Spider-Man’s suit. Notice the detailed webbing along with the mechanical web shooters. It essentially looks identical to the outfit given to him by Tony Stark in Captain America: Civil War. While there don’t appear to be many changes, there’s always the possibility we might see the character get a suit upgrade mid-way through the film.

I’m still holding out for the Iron Spider but I doubt we’ll see that happen anytime soon if at all.
