Are you new to Android? Or have you been a long time casual user that’s looking to get more out of their Android phone than before? If this describes you or someone you know, you might be interested to learn that Google has launched a new Android tips and tricks minisite that will basically walk you through some of Android’s features.
The website covers quite a lot of Android’s features. For example it teaches users about Google Photos and how it lets users access their photos from any device and from anywhere. There are also tips on how to use voice commands to control your phone, how to customize/personalize your phone, and how to locate your lost phone.
There are also tips on how to make your phone more secure, and also more importantly how to stay away from malware that might be disguising itself as an app, which is one of the main causes for Android phones to get infected. All this information is pretty handy for users who are new to the Android platform, but maybe there could be a tip or two in there that seasoned Android users might find useful as well.
The site seems to have been launched today, offering Android users new and old, novice to expert a few helpful tips and tricks to get the most out of their devices. As the resident Android “helper” for my family, friends and work colleagues I’m going to be giving this address out regularly.

With the multitude of Android devices on the market and the minor, and sometimes not so minor, differences in their interfaces, it will be interesting to give these rather generic tips and tricks a go with multiple devices and see if they help or confuse. In the mean time I may just scan through it all just to make sure there’s nothing new for me to learn!
