Pixel XL completely sold out on Google Store

Update : The Google Pixel XL is now completely sold out on Google store. Since the reveal of the Pixel phones on Tuesday, the Google Store’s stock of each variety has slowly been dwindling. There are still some Pixel variants available for pre-order, but only the Very Silver and Quite Black 32GB versions. The 128GB Pixel model is completely sold out as well.

The Pixel and Pixel XL were slated to ship on October 20th but the phones that are left in stock now show a delayed shipping time of five to six weeks.  So for the majority of those that got their pre-orders in, you should be seeing your device in just a couple of weeks. Those that haven’t gotten in their order yet, it may be a while, but Google will be restocking, so don’t worry. There’s no word yet on when exactly that might happen.

However, Best Buy does have the two devices a bit cheaper right now, and offering a $100 gift card as well as a free Chromecast. Definitely making the Pixel or Pixel XL purchase from Best Buy a good looking deal.

Original : Google Pixel XL 128GB variant sold out already after the Really Blue Pixel and Pixel XL

Google’s Pixel and Pixel XL arrived to much fanfare and while many were disappointed with the hardware and pricing, that didn’t seem to have affected sales, at least for now. Pre-orders for the phones began right after the event in SanFransico and the Really Blue Pixel and Pixel XL sold out in a heartbeat. Now, the 128 GB Pixel XL is also out of stock.

The Pixel and Pixel XL have a lot going for them, but there are some missing features I’d love to have seen. Few would have complained, for example, if the Big G had thrown a microSD slot into the equation. 128 GB is serviceable amount of real estate and for many, it’s more than enough. But it’s always nice to have the option on the table, and those who like such flexibility will probably look elsewhere.

So unless you’re okay with settling for the 32GB variant, you’ll be left with waiting until Google can replenish its inventory. Or go for a Verizon / carrier mode, but then, Verizon will be handling your big software updates.

Even though many have been calling the Pixel and Pixel XL the Google iPhone, it definitely seems to be selling like hotcakes. In the meantime, the Pixel 32GB and 128GB are still available or you can just hang tight until the stock has been replenished.
