Even more Galaxy S8 images leak

It’s a new day, and that means more new leaks about Samsung’s upcoming flagship. It almost seems like someone doesn’t want the excitement to die, if you know what I mean. Leaks can after all be a free product marketing among enthusiasts. Evan Blass posted the above image on his twitter handle. The image shows the Samsung Galaxy S8 from various angles but what’s interesting is that the Orchid Gray variant has a black front too.

Earlier images posted by Evan Blass himself showed the colored variants of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ having the same color on the front and back. Earlier leaks as well have showcased a black front for every colored variant of the Galaxy S8 and S8+. If one were to draw conclusions, it would seem the Galaxy S8 devices will indeed feature black fronts even with variants with a colored back but there will be screen protectors for the devices with a colored front. Black front with a colored back would be a first for any Samsung device.

It is also possible that Samsung is making the Galaxy S8 in a lot of different color combinations – colored front and back, black front and colored back. Or may be some of these are just prototypes and Samsung will release only one of the mentioned variants. Remember Samsung hasn’t officially revealed anything about the Galaxy S8 other than Bixby. So this is all just speculation.

We are quite close to the Galaxy S8 launch and it seems unlikely that Samsung is still prototyping, and it also seems unlikely that Samsung will be releasing both black and color front devices since that will lead to a crazy number of color variants for one device. By logic, it seems more likely that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will have black fronts which can be changed with a colored screen protector.

There are some more leaks of the Galaxy S8 in black, by Slashleaks. They’re quite similar to everything we’ve seen beore.
