OnePlus team answers user questions in a Reddit AMA

OnePlus started out as a scrappy underdog from China and carved out a niche for itself in the smartphone industry to an extent that today nobody would tell you to not get a OnePlus because it’s Chinese. All has not been well for the flagship killer company though, but after a rough 2015, the company seems to be back on track with a more than amazing 2016 and two successful flagships.  The company managed to deliver one of the best and consistent experiences that one could purchase in its price bracket.

But OnePlus has once again made headlines with the launch of the OnePlus 3T: an “enhanced re-release” of their best product, aiming to solidify their position as one of the top dogs despite the continuous barrage of new competition.  Continue reading “OnePlus team answers user questions in a Reddit AMA”

A website oneplus.com.au went live today and those who spotted it saw a bit of hope, and if you were one of those, you’d probably not like to hear that it’s not an official OnePlus website nor has it any affiliation with the Chinese OEM.

The website sure seems legit and closely mimics the main OnePlus website which makes the intentions questionable. Continue reading “OnePlus Australia website is fake, devices still won’t be available in Australia”

Unknown OnePlus device (A3010) gets certified in China : OnePlus 3S?

It seems like OnePlus is working on a refreshed version of OnePlus 3 smartphone. A mysterious smartphone bearing model number OnePlus A3010 has received 3C Certification in China. OnePlus 3 Sales Are Being Halted In 24 Countries

In 2014 and 2015, OnePlus relied on a frustrating invite system to sell its devices, something the company did in an effort to keep up with demand. This year, however, the company ditched invites and allowed people to purchase the device at their earliest convenience.

Unfortunately, it sounds like that decision has come back to bite OnePlus in the butt.
