Yesterday, Evan Blass took to twitter leaking some specs for the Samsung Galaxy S8+, the 6.2 inch behemoth with physical dimensions identical to last year’s Samsung flagships. Refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with a new battery, any takers?

One would think that the Galaxy Note 7 rests in the past and Samsung’s future is with the Galaxy S8, and then eventually, the Note 8. But it seems Note 7 isn’t quite ready to stop making headlines just yet. If you remember, back in November (I’m a poet) there were similar reports, and I had quite a lot to say, about how that shouldn’t be true including this:

LG G6 will have dual 13MP wide-angle cameras : LG

LG has been been busy creating hype around the LG G6, and so far has revealed details about its Full Vision Display, Quad DACs, UX 6.0, and the device’s water and dust resistance. Yes, they’ve confirmed it all. And now the South Korean company has revealed details about the camera on the LG G6 ahead of its MWC launch. The device will feature dual 13 mega pixel cameras, the same as can be found on the LG V20 and LG G5  (with different resolutions).  Continue reading


You can now help Google deliver a better Pixel this year

The first ever made by Google smartphones finally came out last year as the Pixel and Pixel XL. Google’s phone was well received by the media and enthusiasts and almost everybody who got the device in their hands sang praises, ready to overlook the few flaws because the phone offered excellent screens, good performance, great build quality and a clean Android 7.0 Nougat experience. But no smartphone is perfect, and Google clearly understands its Pixel wasn’t either. So, Krishna Kumar, Product Lead for the Pixel family, took to the Pixel community forums to seek feedback on the current generation of Pixel devices that could help in designing the next Pixel.  Continue reading


Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ color variants leaked along with pricing

Samsung has made it pretty clear that we wouldn’t be seeing the Galaxy S8 at MWC but it will reveal the official unveiling date at its MWC event. Some reports claim the smartphone could be teased at the event with a one minute video but nothing can be said for sure right now. So for now, we’re stuck with leaks and rumours and today we have one, and its new, at least. It’s not yet another leak about how great the display will be but about the colour options from an alleged Ukrainain retailer’s database. Continue reading

Nokia at MWC : Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and the legendary Nokia 3310

The Nokia 6 will be seen at the MWC, that’s a given but it is not something you’d call new and exciting anymore. The Nokia 6 however will have some company according to recent rumors.
