Samsung Galaxy S8 : Exynos 8895 vs Snapdragon 835

Yesterday, Samsung took the wraps off its new Exynos processor 8895 which has long been rumoured to be used in the International Galaxy S8 variants. The chipset is already under mass production since the Galaxy S8 might be unveiled on April 21st. Samsung plans to ditch Qualcomm for good, wants to use AMD or Nvidia GPUs in 2018 Exynos chipsets

Recently SoftBank announced that they had completed the acquisition of ARM, and it is a big deal because many big names in the mobile industry rely on ARM for their mobile chipsets, and Samsung is one of them. They also rely on ARM for their mobile GPUs, with ARM’s Mali series of GPUs being featured on Samsung’s Exynos chipsets.

That might be about to change however, according to a new “exclusive” report from sammobile, Samsung is in talks with both AMD and Nvidia for GPU tech.

HTC Nexus Marlin Specs Unveiled In AnTuTu Benchmark : Will be as powerful as top Android flagships

Google is expected to release two new Android phones in the coming weeks. Most reports refer to them as 2016 Nexus devices, while a fresh rumor claims Google will go for Google branding instead in India and certain other Markets. The company is supposedly looking to better position its devices to fight against the iPhone, and the rumored device will have high-end specs and high-quality design. A brand new leak indicates that the phones will indeed have top hardware, matching the specs of some of the hottest smartphones out there, including the Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S7 series. The two Nexus devices already recently received FCC certification.
