Android Nougat update rolling out on Sprint’s LG G5

Got a Sprint LG G5? You may want to check for system updates in settings. LG G5 devices in South Korea started receiving the Android Nougat update a couple of weeks ago and now the version of the G5 sold by Sprint in the US are starting to receive the Android upgrade as well.

Report claims LG might ditch modular accessories for next flagship

The LG G5 was a big device for LG because the company tried making it modular via the LG Friends, allowing G5 owners to swap different modules to add new features to the G5 like physical camera controls or a a Hi-Fi DAC for improved audio.

Specs Comparison: Galaxy Note 7 vs. Galaxy S7, Moto Z, G5, OnePlus 3, and HTC 10

The day is coming to a close and even though you are probably burned out on all of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 coverage, since it has fully dominated the past several hours, we wanted to toss out a specs comparison of Samsung’s latest flagship to the other top tier devices of the moment. After all, the phone arrives with a steeper than usual price and a set of specs that few can stand up with. But is all of this worth it when compared to say, the OnePlus 3 and its $400 price tag? Or is it better than the S7 Edge, which can be had for decent discounts these days? Or does it need a modular aspect like the G5 and Moto Z?

We’ll let you weigh in on that for now as we lead up to our full Galaxy Note 7 review. Let the battle begin.
