Windows 10 Redstone 2 build 14926 : What’s new?

Microsoft has been rolling out a number of preview versions of Windows 10 as part of the Redstone 2 update for the insiders with only structural changes to get the operating system o get it ready for new features. Starting with Windows 10 build 14926, we’re now beginning to see the new features and improvements. Windows 10 Redstone 2 build 14926 is live for both PC and Mobile users.

Microsoft bringing Night Mode and ‘People Bar’ to Windows 10 Redstone 2

It’s been known that Microsoft was already actively developing the next big update to Windows 10 right after it released the Anniversary update. This new update is codenamed as Redstone 2. The Insider previews have been out for weeks and the insiders have been testing them, so far nothing new in terms of features as most of the updates are under the hood.

Windows 10 Mobile Redstone 2 to revamp Action Center

The Windows 10 Anniversary Update is the first major update that the operating system has seen this year. Microsoft promised that the company will release two major “feature” updates every year to the OS. While we will keep seeing the cumulative updates each month, feature updates will only be rolled out twice a year.
