Xiaomi Mi 5c has a new image leak which clearly shows the front and the back design of the phone. Based on these leaks, the phone will resemble the Xiaomi Mi 5 in terms of the design, at least from the front, though unlike the Xiaomi Mi 5, it will ship with metal on the back, instead of glass.
But don’t expect the Mi 5C to feature specs similar to those of the Mi 5s. The Mi 5c will be a lower-end alternative, and today an alleged spec sheet for it has been leaked in China. Continue reading “Xiaomi Mi 5C features an in-house SoC with 3GB RAM”

Xiaomi announced the Mi Note 2 which could possibly be the Galaxy Note 7 replacement you might be looking for. In addition to announcing their new flagship phablet, Xiaomi has also introduced their ‘concept’ phablet, the Xiaomi Mi MIX. This is not exactly a concept device as it has been announced as the company’s already existing product, along with its pricing, but it sure looks like a concept device, which is probably why the company referred to it as such. This is perhaps the bezel less device that leaked before as the Mi Note 2.
The Mi MIX goes beyond “anything that’s available in the market today.” The phone features a massive 6.4-inch edgeless display, but the 91.3% screen-to-body ratio means that the Mix isn’t larger than your average 5.7-inch phone. After months of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally taken the wraps off its new flagship smartphone at its ‘Curved to impress’ event in Beijing, China. Called the Mi Note 2, the smartphone is successor to the Mi Note that was launched back in January 2015. The smartphone’s highlight is the use of both front and back 3D curved glass, which also gives the Mi Note 2 a dual-edge curved display like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, though perhaps not as extreme in scope. The company is calling it a two-sided curved display. The smartphone will be offered in two color options – glacial silver and piano black color options.
